You’ve spent days, if not weeks, setting up the perfect game studio, but something is missing. That’s when you realize that despite the vast array of tech you’re putting together, things seem a little bland. Well, Govee has an answer to this problem. You can enhance the aesthetics of your setup with the help of the Govee DreamView G1 Pro dynamic gaming lighting kit. Are you ready to put some color in your space? Let’s feast our eyes together.

DreamView G1 Pro transforms on-screen content into dynamic lighting

Includes multiple parts with simple installation

When you first evaluate the components included in Govee’s DreamView G1 Pro kit, it might seem like a lot. Fortunately, it is not at all difficult to set up the lighting system. This is because there are sticky clips and guides and in total it only requires one outlet to power. Its all-in-one camera dominates the webcam’s center spot, but if you’re not using it anyway, that won’t be a problem at all.

Features colorful, smart and dynamic play lighting

The main function of the DreamView G1 Pro is to provide intelligent and dynamic color lighting for your game studio. It does this by using 2 different 17-inch LED light bars and rear lighting with a camera that detects, interprets and calibrates the content on the screen and changes the colors and lighting effects to better suit it. Instructions are included with the platform to help you determine the correct positioning based on the type of monitor you are using. Remember that you will need to secure some parts using 3M adhesive strips. This may be off-putting to some, but others may find it less inconvenient.

Offers 4 mood-changing game modes

Another feature offered by the DreamView G1 Pro kit is its ability to act depending on the game mode you are using (if you want to use them). These modes are Story Mode, Action Mode, Shooting Mode, and Race Mode. There are other visual modes and an audio mode which aren’t perfect, but it’s nice to have options. If you take the time to play around with them, you’ll likely find one that really suits your personal style of use.

An imperfect but effective alternative to the lighting kit

There are many colorful ambient lighting fixtures out there and choosing the right setup for you isn’t always easy. Everyone’s platforms are different, as are their individual needs, preferences, and goals. The Govee DreamView G1 Pro is a solid alternative to some of the more expensive options available. If you don’t mind that its functions can be a little rough around the edges or that its setup is slightly more complex, it’s probably worth a try.
