Microgravity Ventures has announced its much anticipated Microgravity Gaming League (MGL FIFA 21). The company is organizing this esport tournament on May 8 and 9, 2021, in partnership with Battlefy and HP. The format will be based on the selection FIFA 21 platform accessible through PlayStation 4. The target audience will consist of more than 16 professionals, enthusiasts and casual gamers looking to take advantage of this competitive format. People can register on the Microgravity website with their PSN credentials.
This tournament is one of the biggest FIFA 21 competitions to be carried out within two days. The tournament is divided into three phases: the qualifying phase, the combat phase and the zero hour phase. In the qualification phase, applicants will be shortlisted on a first come, first served basis after completing the registration process on the Microgravity website. The 1024 best participants selected will then compete. The battle phase consists of 6 rounds where qualified participants will compete against each other. The rounds will take place in a knockout format where the top 16 entrants will then be moved to the Zero Hour phase where they will compete against each other to win the tournament. Zero Hour Phase matches will be broadcast on Microgravity’s YouTube channel. Microgravity is also looking for the best female players who will be known as #GamerGoddesses. This is an important area of intervention for the tournament. In addition to the prizes for the best player goddesses, there are prizes for the Best Goal and Top Scorer categories that will be identified during the Zero Hour phase. The two best participants of the tournament will compete to win the Microgravity Gaming League – FIFA 21 Championship.
