With the free agency League of Legends booming, Counter Logic Gaming is looking to stand out and improve its roster.
Unlike many NA LCS teams, CLG only has one vacancy on its roster – the role of mid laner after French-born Korean star Choi ‘Huhi’ Jae-hyun leaves for 100 Thieves. .
According to a report by Jacob Wolf of ESPN, the space left by Huhi will be occupied by former OpTic Gaming player Tristan ‘PowerofEvil’ Schrage.
PowerOfEvil will hold the second import location on CLG’s list which was released as a result of âHuhiâ obtaining residency in the United States with a green card.
PowerOfEvil has been OpTic’s star player in its first two divisions in the NA LCS despite the team finishing ninth in the spring division and seventh in the summer division – narrowly missing the summer playoffs. .
In early November, the German mid laner tweeted that he was under contract with OpTic and negotiating for a new contract, but that he was able to look for options outside the squad for the next 2019 season – in Europe. and in North America.
The former Unicorns of Love and Misfits player was unable to secure a new deal with OpTic and became a free agent on November 11.
Although I am still under contract and currently in negotiations, I am open and able to research options outside of OpTic for 2019. Please feel free to contact us by email or DM, open to NA and EU positions.
