Poco and GamingMonk announce Poco Battle Arena gaming league

Chinese smartphone the Poco brand announced the Poco Battle arena gaming league in partnership with esports company GamingMonk. The gaming league will allow players across the country to participate in a PUBG Mobile tournament.
Each team will consist of 4 participants, with over 500 teams vying for the top spot in the Battle Royale tournament. The winning team will be entitled to 4 Poco X2 smartphones as a prize to secure first place. With the final scheduled for May 4 – where 16 teams will compete – two qualifying rounds will be held on April 28 and 30, respectively.
Participants can register for qualifiers on the GamingMonk tournament portal. Non-participants can access the livestream on YouTube.
PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular battle royale games on Android and iOS platforms that rival like Fortnite and Garena Free Fire. The game recently introduced either Arctic mode or Cold Front Survival mode.

We resonate strongly with young people and aim to reach out to potential users to encourage growing engagement with the best players in the country. ”
The Poco X2 smartphone is equipped with a 6.67-inch Full HD + display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G octa-core processor with LiquidCool technology and runs Android 10.
There is a 64 MP Sony IMX 686 quad camera setup with 8 MP and two 2 MP secondary sensors – a macro camera and a depth camera each. On the front, it has a built-in dual-lens camera consisting of 20MP + 2MP for selfies. The device has a double hole punch display where the selfie camera is placed. The Poco X2 is backed by a 4,500mAh battery supporting 27W fast charging. The device comes with the fast charger ready to use. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
